Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon Tenshi matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot water (not boiling)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • Sweetener of your choice (optional)
  • Whisk or frother
  • Small bowl or cup
  • Saucepan (if using stovetop)
  • Mug

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Your Equipment: Gather all the necessary equipment and ingredients. Make sure your whisk or frother is clean and ready to use.

  2. Heat Milk: Heat your milk of choice in a saucepan on the stovetop or in a microwave-safe container. Heat it until it's hot but not boiling. If you're using a microwave, heat in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between, to avoid overheating and creating a mess.

  3. Mix Tenshi Matcha: In a small bowl or cup, place 1 teaspoon of Tenshi matcha powder. Add about 1 tablespoon of hot water (not boiling) to the matcha powder.

  4. Whisk or Froth: Use a bamboo whisk or a handheld frother to whisk the Tenshi matcha and hot water together until you achieve a smooth and frothy mixture. This step helps to dissolve the matcha and create a nice foam.

  5. Combine Matcha and Milk: Pour the frothy Tenshi matcha mixture into your mug. Slowly pour in the hot milk, holding back the foam with a spoon to allow the liquid to flow in. You can adjust the milk-to-matcha ratio based on your preference.

  6. Sweeten (Optional): If you like your latte on the sweeter side, add your preferred sweetener (such as honey, agave syrup, or sugar) to taste. Start with a small amount and adjust according to your preference.

  7. Mix and Enjoy: Stir the matcha latte gently to combine all the ingredients. You can use the spoon to hold back the foam as you pour the remaining milk. Once everything is well mixed, your Tenshi matcha latte is ready to enjoy!

  8. Optional Garnish: You can get creative with your Tenshi matcha latte by adding a dusting of Tenshi matcha powder on top, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or even a dollop of whipped cream.

  9. Serve Hot: Tenshi matcha lattes are best enjoyed hot. Sip and savor the wonderful flavors and the calming effects of Tenshi matcha.

Feel free to adjust the instructions and quantities based on your personal taste preferences. Enjoy your homemade Tenshi matcha latte!
